The inner cell of the closed cell foam material is separated by a wall film from the cell and is not connected to each other,
which is an independent cell structure. And it is mainly small alveolar or extremely fine micropores

          Closed cell EPDM foam has an independent bubble structure, and there is a wall membrane separating 

the internal bubbles from the bubbles, which is not connected with each other. This structure makes the closed 

cell EPDM foam has extremely excellent impact resistance, inverse elasticity, flexibility, sound insulation, heat 

insulation, waterproof, vapor-proof, buoyancy and so on. Because of its sealing performance and compression 

resistance, closed-cell EPDM foam is usually used in occasions where thermal insulation, moisture-proof and 

sound insulation are required, such as the insulation layer of roofs, walls and floors of buildings, and the sound 

insulation and noise reduction materials of automobiles, trains and other means of transportation. In addition, 

due to its better abrasion resistance, closed-cell EPDM foam is also often used to manufacture abrasion-resistant 

mats, anti-slip mats and other products.
